A dump valve is an air pressure bypass valve that is placed between the turbo compressor and the throttle.

Dump valves are generally fitted to improve emissions, fuel economy and drivability. However, in aftermarket applications, fitting a Dump Valve can help achieve higher boost levels, reducing stress on the turbine allowing a better throttle response and of course to make noise (whooooosh)!

Once our water pumps are rebuilt, they are fitted to our pressurised test rig and fully tested to ensure the reliabilty of the unit.
